Benfleet 15 M - 30th January 2005
Thanks Ken for this report: Nine runners (including one guest member) turned out for the Benfleet 15on Sunday. The conditions were significantly drier than in previous years making for some fast times. The winner was about 9 minutes faster than last year, and the median runner by about 3 minutes, perhaps indication that muddy conditions slow the faster runners much more than ordinary runners.
First man in did 1:28:53, first woman 1:53:07, median runner 2:12:51. To do justice to Stuart I should mention that he had run "Parliament Hell" the day before.
