Littlestone Lifeboat 10K

The annual pilgrimage down to Littlestone for the 10K promenade dash took place on Friday evening.  A headwind on the way back didn’t stop the BRC squad from picking up a host of prizes and a maiden victory for Simon Carter. Claire Sutton took 2nd overall Lady, with Mel Burdett , Nicky Howard and Vivienne Greig taking 1st place in their respective age categories.  The Ladies (Claire, Mel and Katie Newell) also scooped the team prize.

Green Belt Relay and Larkfield AC 10k

2015 Team Relay Race Results

Thanks to all 100 teams who took part in last nights Beckenham Team Relay, a new attendance record reaching our licence limit.

Weather conditions were perfect and must have helped produce amazing fastest leg times for Alex Yee (Crystal Palace Tri) and Clare Elms (Dulwich) with times of 12:23 and 15:27 respectively.

Many Congrats to Daniel for winning and PB’ing at the Self Transcendence 10k in Battersea Park!

Ken Fancett has once again negotiated and conquered the 100 miles distance through the meandering route of the Thames Towpath with a mix of trails and paved pathway. This ultra distance race started on Saturday with a 28 hour cut off. Ken finished in 31st position from a field of nearly 200!

What better way to start your Bank Holiday than taking part in a 10k race? Ted Pepper 10k was packed with great performances, with a very impressive BRC turn out. Well done all!
