Piece of Cake – Cycle Time Trial

The 1st Piece of (birthday) Cake of 2012,  so called because the shape of the route resembles a slice of cake, took place last night. Conditions weren’t ideal for a fast time with blustery winds and  showers, however a new world record was set….for a Post Office bike!

Dulwich 5K

Beckenham Mens Team Winners - Simon, Carl & Ok Chris

Congratulations to Carl Ferri for coming 2nd in last nights Dulwich 5k, and also to the mens team for winning the team prize for a what I think is for the 4th consecutive year! Results are here.

Wednesday 20/6 Club Runs

Please be advised that many of us will be at Dulwich tomorrow evening for the Dulwich 5k. So if you intend on doing a normal Wednesday night run, numbers may be abit sparse. Similarly if any perspective new members were thinking of coming along to Foxgrove, you might be best to come next week instead.

1066 Relay

Last year Beckenhams men team won the 1st 1066 relay. A year on an against more teams Beckenham retained the 1066 Shield run over tough hilly terrain.
